Kansas JUCO Safety Commits to Colorado

This could be a busy week on the recruiting front for the Buffaloes.

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

The Buffaloes have had a busy December as they just notched their fourth commitment of the month, and are set to find out if La Mirada (Calif.) wide receiver Tony Brown will choose the Buffs over Texas Tech on Friday.

The newest commitment is Butler C.C. (El Dorado, Kansas) safety Afolabi Laguda. Laguda had offers from CU, Georgia State, North Dakota and Utah State and recently visited the University of Illinios. Many speculations were that Laguda would choose Georgia State which is right next to his hometown of Snellville, Georgia.

Laguda is 6'2", 200 lbs. and has been clocked at 4.5 40-yard dash. He is the nineteenth commitment for the Buffs, and the fourth in two weeks. This years class could be ending early as only a few open spots remain.

Welcome aboard, Afolabi!
