4-Star Running Back Commits to the Buffaloes

Donald Gordon gave his verbal to the coaching staff last night.

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

The Colorado Buffaloes picked up their third commitment of the last two weeks (Nick Fisher committed Sunday before last and Chris Bounds last week) with a verbal from Millikan high school running back Donald Gordon. Gordon is rated as a 4-star running back by ESPN and the site also has him listed as the No. 35 running back nationally.

Gordon fills a big need for the Buffaloes at running back who hadn't taken a player at the position in either the 2014 or '15 recruiting classes (outside of Kyle Evans).

Gordon becomes the fourteenth member of the 2015 class and the sixth from California.

Welcome aboard, Donald!
