Offensive Tackle Elijah Rodriguez Commits to Colorado

The Texas high schooler committed to the Buffaloes this past weekend.

Ron Chenoy-US PRESSWIRE

The Colorado Buffaloes landed another big line commitment with the verbal of Houston, Texas offensive lineman Elijah Rodriguez last Friday night. Rodriguez visited Boulder recently and came away with the Buffs as his leader. Coach MacIntyre and the rest of the staff seem to have really impressed the young lineman during his stay on campus. He has a number of offers from around the country and has been attracting attention from some new BCS schools of late.

Rodriguez becomes the tenth commitment in the Buffaloes 2014 class.

Welcome aboard, Elijah!

"When I was talking to the head coach, I put him on the spot and asked how he could help me be the best man I can be with the most integrity and character and set myself up to have a successful career and a successful family. He told me the most important things to him are foundation, family, future and football. He told me he is going to make sure everyone on his team increases their integrity. It was just really impressive."
