Utah Defensive Lineman Verbals to Colorado

Sam Bennion is the third defensive line commit in just over a week for the Buffs.

Ron Chenoy-US PRESSWIRE

The Colorado Buffaloes have landed their another commitment on the defensive line. Logan, Utah's Sam Bennion has made his decision to come to Boulder. Bennion was a honorable mention all-state player who is a three-year starter and recorded 50 tackles and six sacks in his junior season. It's clear that Mike MacIntyre wants to give Jim Jeffcoat plenty of bodies to work with and this bodes well for the future. Good to see this class coming together.

Bennion becomes the eleventh commitment in the Buffaloes 2014 class.

"And their head coach, Mike MacIntyre, knows his stuff and I believe he is going to do great things there."
