Buffs Get Second Commit of the Day With Dylan Keeney Verbal

Yep, he may play linebacker...

Ron Chenoy-US PRESSWIRE

According to his Twitter account, California tight end Dylan Keeney has given the Colorado Buffaloes their second commitment of the day and continues a sudden onslaught of good recruiting news. Keeney plays both ways at Granite Bay and could figure in on either side of the ball for the Buffs. He has high upside at both tight end and linebacker. While he will most likely find a spot on offense, If he does end up playing defense he will be the 4th commit at the position for the Buffs already.

Keeney becomes the third commitment in three days and the seventh in the 2014 class. Remember just over a month ago when the Buffaloes had no commits...?

Welcome aboard, Dylan!

Notes: From Rivals ($):
"Keeney is probably able to play on either side of the ball in college so wherever he starts and begins to develop in college will play a big role in his football future. His instincts and cover skills make him a more attractive defensive prospect, however, and that's where we like him at the college level. The question is whether Keeney will eventually pick up BCS offers and it's a distinct possibility."
