Colorado has received a commitment that wasn't expected to come to pass today from California safety Tedric Thompson. This is a great get for the Buffaloes and shows Coach Mac's in-roads into California have already started to pay dividends.

"I didn't expect Colorado to be as nice as it is. I liked it a lot," Thompson said during a recent interview with BuffStampede.com. "The football field, the locker room and the weight room really stood out to me. The weight room is crazy; it looks out over the football field."

Thompson earned first-team all-CIF and all-league honors as a senior at Valencia. He said his effort and team-first attitude are a couple of his best attributes as a player.
