Buffaloes Land Commitment From California Running Back

The Colorado Buffaloes have carried over the momentum from their

have landed a commitment from American Canyon, California running back Jomon Dotson. Dotson has an impressive offer list that includes Arizona State, Northwestern, Iowa State and Yale (yes, Yale). He is a top 60 player in California and is ranked as the countries No. 48 overall running back prospect by Rivals. Dotson plans on taking his offiicial visit to Boulder in December.

Jomon becomes the fifteenth commitment in the Buffaloes 2014 class.

"I am committed to the University of Colorado," said the 6-foot-0, 175-pound running back. "What made me want to commit to Colorado is their system. It is a great, up-and-coming program, and I heard the environment is really great out there. I can't wait to take my visit out there (official visit scheduled for December).

"The coaches there are fantastic and they need some speed in the backfield and I feel I can help their team out, and help them win more games. Coach MacIntyre and Coach Adams were really excited. They can't wait for me to come out there. They have a great Engineering program, and that is what I want to study."
