Adam Munsterteiger is reporting that wide receiver Peyton Williams will not continue his collegiate career at the University of Colorado as planned and will head back to Texas.
Williams was a 3-star receiver in the 2012 class that was grayshirting this season, meaning he was enrolled in a limited number of classes at CU but could not participate in practices. I guess if Williams was getting homesick, that it's best that he head home now. It's a bit disappointing though because he was an interesting prospect from a great high school program.
While grayshirting and living in Boulder last semester, Peyton Williams realized that his heart is still in Texas: bit.ly/ZmVGHX
