BREAKING: Colorado Buffaloes out of NCAA Tournament

The Buffs will have to wait until next season.

The NCAA Tournament field was announced Sunday night with one notable omission: the Colorado Buffaloes were snubbed and left out of March Madness.

The Buffaloes, the best team in Colorado with a head coach, were certainly deserving of at least a 16-seed, but for whatever reason, they were left off.

Colorado, which twice beat tournament teams UCLA (and Arizona State), was excluded from the field presumably to let in mediocre squads like Penn and Radford because they won easy conferences.

The Buffs, who have the best freshman point guard in the Pac-12, were apparently left off because losing to the San Diego Toreros is not good for the resume.

CU, who has the Pac-12 Sixth Man of the Year, didn’t get invited to March Madness because going 17-15 with a weak non-conference schedule is apparently not very impressive.

The ole gold-and-black, who have the sassiest coach in the country, were left out because they are simply not good enough to get in.

The Buffaloes, who have one of the most promising rosters in the country, will have to settle for making the tournament and making a run next year. And for now, that’s enough.
