After trailing by nine with just under 16 minutes to play in the game, Seattle outscored Colorado 36-20 in the final 15:40, advancing to the CBI final four with a 72-65 win.
Seattle was led by two 20-point scorers Monday night. Jarell Flora poured in 22 points for the Redhawks, and Isiah Umipig added 20 points, shooting a perfect 6-of-6 from the charity stripe. The Redhawks hit 10 threes on the evening, shooting at just above a 45 percent clip.
Colorado led for a good portion of the first half, and after three-straight triples, looked poised to run away with the contest on Seattle's home floor. But the Redhawks were able to hold Josh Scott in check in the second half, limiting the big man from Monument to just one second half field goal. Scott posted good numbers nonetheless, scoring 17 points on 5-of-9 from the floor.
It was a dismal shooting night for Buffaloes not named Scott. Minus Scott, CU went a combined 14-of-47, good for just under 30 percent.
Colorado finishes the season at 16-18, including a 1-1 record in the CBI.
