Back on January 5th a seemingly innocuous tweet from Andy Katz asking his followers whether Boulder or Stanford would be a better location for that Saturday's College Gameday show set off a flurry of tweets from Colorado fans highlighting Boulder as the obvious choice.
After Spencer Dinwiddie and Tre'Shaun Fletcher went down against Washington and a flurry of losses followed many fans forgot about the possibility of the ESPN show heading to Boulder. Yesterday, Chris Fowler seemingly confirmed that the show will still be heading our way for the showdown against the No. 1 Arizona Wildcats in what will likely be a primetime match-up.
I'm proud #cubuffs will host Gameday hoops show Feb22. Salute for strong season in the making. Students need to represent!

Even after the Wildcats handled the Buffs in Tucson 69-57 this should still be an interesting game at The Keg, with Xavier Johnson's dimwitted postgame comments being fuel on the fire for an Arizona team that has been rolling through their conference schedule.
To avoid the possibility of this game becoming an afterthought the Buffaloes must regroup and put together a strong showing in the upcoming three game homestand, but more on that coming later this week.
