Arkansas transfer set to visit Colorado this weekend

The Buffaloes will be hosting a big time potential transfer.

ESPN college basketball reporter Jeff Goodman is reporting that Arkansas transfer guard Jimmy Whitt will be visiting Boulder and the Buffaloes this weekend.

Whitt announced his decision to transfer a few weeks ago and has an impressive list of suitors. Per CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein, Whitt has heard from NC State, Kansas, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, and the Buffs. Whitt, a freshman, will sit out 2016-17 and have three year of eligibility remaining.

Coming out of high school, he was a consensus four-star prospect and ranked in the top 100 at 247Sports. He didn't play a lot as a freshman and some thought his first year was a bit of a disappointment but he certainly has a ton of talent.

Whitt is listed at 6'4 and 173 pounds and only amde 38.8% of his 178 two-point attempts. However, he made nearly 80% of his free throws, so he can certainly shoot, and made 37.5% of his 16 three-point tries.

This would be a big land for the Buffaloes.
