Whitt announced his decision to transfer a few weeks ago and has an impressive list of suitors. Per CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein, Whitt has heard from NC State, Kansas, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, and the Buffs. Whitt, a freshman, will sit out 2016-17 and have three year of eligibility remaining.
Coming out of high school, he was a consensus four-star prospect and ranked in the top 100 at 247Sports. He didn't play a lot as a freshman and some thought his first year was a bit of a disappointment but he certainly has a ton of talent.
Whitt is listed at 6'4 and 173 pounds and only amde 38.8% of his 178 two-point attempts. However, he made nearly 80% of his free throws, so he can certainly shoot, and made 37.5% of his 16 three-point tries.
This would be a big land for the Buffaloes.
