Tyler Bey is officially a Colorado Buffalo

The ultra-athletic wing from Cali joins Colorado’s program.

As usual, Sam Metivier was spot on with his evaluation of Tyler Bey when he committed earlier this year. Bey is freakishly long and he unfurls his arms frequently to reject whatever idea the other team had of scoring. Tyler is a voracious rebounder with a nose for the ball, a great one-on-one ball-stopper, and he manages all of this while towering over the enemy at 6’8.

As Sam said previously, if Tad Boyle had 24 hours to construct the perfect basketball player, it’s a sure bet he’d come up with something like Bey. Long, mean, avid defender, and can put the ball in the whole in different ways. His offensive games has really developed over the summer and into his senior year. This is fun to watch:

He’s going to be fantastic in Boulder. Welcome, Tyler!
