Colorado Cross Country Wraps Season with Disappointing NCAA Championship Finish

+

The Colorado cross country program, renowned for its storied history, faced a challenging outing at the NCAA Championships, marking a downturn for the Buffaloes. Under the helm of head coach Mark Wetmore, the Buffaloes made their 29th appearance in the national final, yet this year marked a less than stellar showing. The women's team landed 19th, while the men's squad secured the 25th spot at Panorama Farms in Charlottesville, Virginia. This championship marked an anomaly in Wetmore's tenure, with the Buffs missing the top 10 team standings for only the second time. The prior instance was in 2008 when the men finished 12th post the women's absence from the finals. nfr live stream
