Our first look at this talented freshman class.

On the latest episode of the At the Buzzer podcast, Jack Barsch and Sam Metivier are joined by new Ralphie Report writer Jack Carlough. Sam and Carlough attended the Buffs’ open basketball practice, but Jack Barsch did not, so there are plenty of questions that you (the listener) will have answered as they pertain to the 2021-22 Buffs.

First we take a look at the newcomers. Freshmen Lawson Lovering and KJ Simpson stood out over everyone, Quincy Allen is so athletic and so talented, Mason Faulkner and Javon Ruffin are healing from injuries, and Julian Hammond is competing hard.

We also take a look at the leadership of Evan Battey, the star power of Jabari Walker, the growing role of senior Eli Parquet, the emergence of Keeshawn Barthelemy, and finally the growth of Nique Clifford after his rocky freshman season. That’s pretty everyone on the team, besides Luke O’Brien (who looks fine) and Tristan da Silva (who is not in Boulder yet).
