At the Buzzer: The Pac-12 had quite the week

From the players uniting, to the Pac-12 schedule being released, to a tragic passing.

On the latest episode of At the Buzzer, co-hosts Jack Barsch and Sam Metivier are joined by broadcaster Jeff Hauser to discuss a wild week of Pac-12 drama.

So much happened in the Pac-12 that it was hard to fit everything in a single episode. We start with the Pac-12’s conference-only schedule, the #WeAreUnited players campaign, the possibility of even having a season at all, Folsom Field wanting to welcome fans, and finally, all the basketball players returning to school.

We also honor the passing of Betty Hoover, who passed away at the age of 95. She and her twin sister, Peggy Coppam, had attended games together for nearly 70 years, becoming a symbol of everything great about college sports. The twins deserve a statue in or outside the CU Events Center, to honor the impact they had on generations of CU fans.
