As protests against racial injustice continue across the world, Colorado Buffaloes athletes and coaches led a peaceful demonstration in Boulder on Friday.
First reported by Brian Howell of BuffZone.com, the Buff March began Friday morning when around 500 #BlackLivesMatter supporters walked from campus to downtown Boulder.
K.D. Nixon was the vocal leader of the march, walking with Laviska Shenault and McKinley Wright, as he led chants at the front of the group.

Upon arriving at the band shell, athletes Nixon and Kaylie Chiaverini addressed the crowd with messages of solidarity with the BLM movement and justice against police brutality.
Among the coaches involved, women’s basketball coach JR Payne and football coaches Karl Dorrell and Darrin Chiaverini used their platform to recruit students to the march and offer their own support.
