Big men from Texas have been good to the Colorado Buffaloes. There’s almost too many to name, but a good name to start with is Alfred Williams. There’s a few other names on both sides of the ball, but Jeromey Irwin is a more recent name to use. Jackson Anderson, who signed with the Buffaloes today, is modeled quite a bit after Jeromey Irwiin.
Jackson Anderson is from a tiny town in Texas, but he is anything but tiny. His 6’4, 280 pound frame moves around super fast for his size and he can pull around and smack some linebackers really well.
Here is what we said about Jackson Anderson when he committed:
Jackson Anderson, at 6’4, 280 pounds, is a big athlete. His tape shows he can really move for his size. Anderson really doesn’t use his arms to engage, but when he does engage, his strength and athleticism win out. He looks like a really skinny 280 pounds, so if he can bulk up for a bit, he’ll be a great athletic piece for Mitch Rodrigue.
An offensive lineman that you might want to anchor your relay team
