The Colorado Buffaloes will travel to the Bay Area for the first road game of the 2020 season. Their Nov. 14 matchup against the Stanford Cardinal will kick-off at 1:30 p.m. MT and will air on ESPN2 and ESPNU.

That game will be the Buffs second straight game on national television, following their home opener against the UCLA Bruins (5 p.m. MT, ESPN2). This national exposure, however, is not because the public wants to see Sam Noyer suit up. Instead, the Pac-12 has ensured that every conference game will be played on either Fox Sports or ESPN channels rather than use the much-maligned Pac-12 Networks.

As far as the game itself is concerned, Stanford is not quite as good as they used to be. They will be without their two best players — Walker Little and Paulson Adebo, both of whom opted out of the season — and will rely on the unproven Davis Mills at quarterback. They still have talent and a massive offensive line, but this is my no means a daunting matchup.

We still don’t know what Colorado looks like on the field, particularly on offense with a first-time starting quarterback under Karl Dorrell’s newly installed system.
