When the Colorado Buffaloes finally take the field in 2020, Ralphie VI will be under the lights and on national television.
The university’s Sports Information Department announced on Monday that the Colorado-UCLA game on Saturday, November 7th will kickoff at 5:00 p.m. (MT) and it will be broadcasted on ESPN2.
This could be a very cold game for the Buffs, as it will surely be the coldest opener in school history. Any home game in Boulder can be dicey, particularly an evening game after Daylight Savings ends. This could be an even bigger impact for the UCLA Bruins, who obviously aren’t adjusted to winter weather.
The Buffaloes will also be debuting a new head coach in Karl Dorrell, as well as a first-time starting quarterback, be it Tyler Lytle, Sam Noyer or Brendon Lewis. That first game could tell us a lot about this young team and how they carry themselves in a rebuilding season.
