The Colorado Buffaloes have moved up in the latest AP Poll. They are now ranked #20 after two double-digits wins over Washington State and Washington.
This past week wasn’t as chaotic as most of this season has been, but there was some movement in the polls as six Top 25 lost during the week. The Buffs jumped three spots as #18 Texas Tech, #20 Memphis and #22 Arizona all lost.
Of Colorado’s non-conference opponents, Kansas and Dayton are sitting pretty at #3 and #7, respectively. Dayton still hasn’t lost since D’Shawn Schwartz’s buzzer-beater, and their one other loss was in overtime to Kansas in Maui.
Arizona’s loss to Arizona State dropped them from the Top 25. They’re still one of the 25 best teams, but they have won just 4 of their last 10 games. The Wildcats falling means that the only Pac-12 in rankings are #11 Oregon and #20 Colorado. For what it’s worth, Arizona and USC are receiving votes and are unofficially #27 and #34, respectively.
