The Colorado Buffaloes (2-0, Pac-12) will head to Tempe, Ariz. on Saturday, Sept. 21 to open conference play against the Arizona State Sun Devils (2-0, Pac-12). Kickoff is scheduled for a 8 p.m. MT start time with a national telecast on Pac-12 Networks.
CU has spilt the last two meetings against ASU. The Buffaloes won 28-21 last year at Folsom Field to improve to a 5-0 record before everything came crashing down. Laviska Shenault Jr. accounted for all four of CU’s touchdowns in the contest.
Arizona State has gone through the first two weeks of the season with victories against Kent State and Sacramento State. In those contests, they’ve held their opponent to an average on 7 points per game, althought the Devils’ offense has been hit or miss, particularly against Sac State. The Sun Devils face their first real test of the 2019 season this week at No. 18 Michigan State.
Colorado has a chance to pick up their first-ever victory at Sun Devil Stadium in two weeks.
