As the football season draws to a close for the Colorado Buffaloes, they will face the Washington Huskies for Senior Day on Saturday, Nov. 23. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. MT from Folsom Field and nationally televised on ESPN.

The Buffs are looking to build momentum to play the role as a spoiler in the last two games of the season. If Colorado can win out for a bowl bid it will be indicative of the relentless mentality Mel Tucker has vocalized. Accomplishing that feat would mean upsetting Washington and 7th-ranked Utah on the road. There would be no better way to have Tucker’s first season to end on a high note, if Colorado can be bowl bound for the first time in three years.

Something else to look forward is Steven Montez looking to leave his name as one of CU’s top passers. He moved closer to breaking two records in CU’s 16-13 defeat of Stanford two weeks ago. Montez broke the 10,000 yards of total offense and needs 316 yards to break Sefo Liufau’s mark set in 2016. The El Paso, Texas native also needs one passing touchdown to move ahead of Liufau and Cody Hawkins to set CU’s passing record for TD’s with 61.
