One of Colorado’s best players from next year’s recruiting class was selected to play in the 2020 All-American Bowl. Devin Grant will represent the Buffs as one of the top 100 players in his own backyard of San Antonio, Texas on Jan. 4, 2020.

The 6-foot-3, 235 pound three-star defensive end from Antonian College Preparatory High School comes to Boulder as one of five current recruits from Texas. Grant is experienced on both sides of the line. A dominant two-way, three-sport athlete at both running back and defensive end, along with earning All-District honors for football, basketball & track and field as a sophomore.
According to the All-American Bowl’s website, 380 NFL Draft picks and 159 NCAA All-Americans have played in prior games. This years’s game will be nationally televised from the Alamodome on NBC.
Grant received offers from several Division I schools including in-state foes Colorado State and Air Force to name a few. He gave a verbal commitment to CU on Valentine’s Day of this year and is expected to stay at defensive end.
