On Friday night, the Colorado Buffaloes (3-4) will take on the USC Trojans (4-3). The game is scheduled to be nationally televised on ESPN2. It goes without saying Colorado will need to right the ship during the week, or it’s going to be a tough night.

The Buffs opened as 13-point underdogs against USC, which feels right. The Buffs have now lost their past three games, a close home loss to Arizona, a blowout at Oregon, and an even more depressing blowout against Washington State.

Colorado is at home, but the Trojans are on the of the most talented teams in the country. Their receiving corps is absurdly good with Michael Pittman, Tyler Vaughs and Amon-Ra St. Brown, all of whom are over 6’1 and freakishly athletic. It goes without saying that Colorado’s injury-plagued secondary may struggle against them.

Colorado has also never beaten USC, period. If we are to see that upset, it will require Good Montez to show up after a three-week hiatus, the secondary will have to make plays, and goodness gracious let’s get the ball to Laviska Shenault.
