In their nationally televised game against the Oregon Ducks, the Colorado Buffaloes will have their superstar. Per a source, Laviska Shenault Jr. will play tonight.
Shenault was injured against Arizona State three weeks ago, when he suffered a core injury in the first quarter. He missed the rest of that game, rested over the idle week, then sat out against Arizona last week. He’s back, evidentaly, but we will find out if that’s in a limited capacity of if he will be heavily featured.
The Buffs are 22-point underdogs tonight, mostly because of their injury-ravaged defense. Assuming quarterback Steven Montez is sharp, Colorado should be able to score, with or without Shenault. But having their superstar receiver gives them more firepower and takes away attention from playmakers K.D. Nixon (questionable) and Tony Brown.
Stay tuned on whether or not Nixon, Mustafa Johnson and other questionable players will suit up alongside Shenault.
