The Colorado Buffaloes (3-0, 0-0 Pac-12) received votes in the AP Top 25 poll after a 45-14 defeat of New Hampshire on Saturday. It marks the closet Colorado has been to being ranked since appearing No. 17 in the final poll of the 2016 season.
Alabama reigns supreme as the nation’s top team by beating Ole’ Miss 62-7 at Oxford. The defending national champions are followed by runner-up Georgia at No. 2 and Clemson to round out the top three.
Stanford moved up 2 spots to No. 7 as the Pac-12’s highest-ranked team. The Cardinal is three spots ahead of Washington at No. 10, who’s the nation’s second-highest ranked one-loss team after the season-opening loss to No. 9 Auburn. Oregon stays put to No. 20 with a 35-22 victory over San Jose State as the only other Pac-12 team in the polls. USC and Arizona State are bounced out of the rankings with losses on Saturday night.
