The Colorado Buffaloes have a long history of recruiting Texas basketball players. They continue that history as they add Elijah Parquet to their 2018 recruiting class.

Parquet is a 6’4 combo guard from Henderson, Texas, and he choose the Buffs over offers from Virginia Tech and Denver, among other schools. Parquet seems like a classic three-level scorer with good size, length and athleticism, though not much is known about him or his game since he missed his junior season with a torn rotator cuff.
The Buffs used this weekend to host their top recruits. Tad Boyle brought in Spencer Dinwiddie, Andre Roberson and Derrick White to impress the kids and it must have worked. Before Parquet committed on Saturday, Denver East’s Daylen Kountz did so on Friday night. Hopefully there will be more to come.
Welcome to the Buffs, Elijah!
