For the first time since 2011, four Colorado Buffaloes were selected in the NFL Draft. Defensive tackle Jordan Carrell will join Chidobe Awuzie in Dallas after he was selected in the 7th round (246th overall pick) of the 2017 NFL Draft.

A junior college transfer, the 6’3, 280-lb Carrell started 25 games during his two seasons in Boulder, finishing his career with 89 tackles and six sacks. His 695 snaps played on defense in 2016 were the most of any Buffs defensive lineman. Carrell, who dedicated his final season in Boulder to his late father who passed away from a heart attack in April, earned honorable mention All-Pac 12 honors from the league coaches. Congrats Jordan!

So happy to see Jordan Carrell get drafted (7th Rd, Dallas)... he dedicated 2016 to his father who passed away about a year ago to the day.
