Oy! Oy! Oy! The Buffs have jumped on the Australian bandwagon. James Stefanou, who is 28 years old, has joined the Buffs as a freshman kicker. He trained at Pro Kick Australia, which also trained Tom Hackett and Mitch Wichnowsky, the two straight Ray Guy winners for Utah. This is another log added to the Utah-Colorado rivalry fire, and it;s only going to get more intense. Stefanoue should add some maturity and leg talent to CU, as a former professional soccer player.
The Buffs have signed James Stefanou, a kicker out of Australia, to a National Letter of Intent. Welcome to the family, James! #CUin17 pic.twitter.com/LvvDro0DoE
