Defensive Lineman Israel Antwine commits to Buffaloes

The Buffs are getting a great talent in Antwine.

NCAA Football: Colorado State at Colorado Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

The Colorado Buffaloes are finishing this recruiting period strong. On Tuesday, they flipped Israel Antwine, a promising defensive lineman who had previously committed to Oklahoma State.

Antwine comes from Millwood High School in Oklahoma City. He’s a 3-star prospect ranked as the 12th best recruit in Oklahoma. In addition to Oklahoma State, he was recruited by Ole Miss and Arkansas.

At 6’3, 285-lbs. and with physicality to spare, he could be ready to contribute right away and provide power to a defensive line that will have to improve in the future. You can see in the highlights below that Antwine has a ton of potential.

Welcome, Israel!
