Tad Boyle has secured the services of a former top 75 recruit on the transfer market.

Tad Boyle has landed his transfer. Namon Wright, a guard, who left the Missouri program at the end of last season, has committed to come to Boulder and play his remaining two years of eligibility for the Buffs according to Pat Rooney of the Daily Camera.

Wright took his visit to Boulder a month ago, and at the time, UNLV and Oregon were also competing to secure his commitment. Originally from the Los Angeles area and a top 75 national recruit coming out of high school, he is listed at 6’5 and 200 pounds.

In Wright, Boyle gets the kind of guard he loves; big, athletic and aggressive. In his two years at Missouri, Wright averaged 8.2 points, 3.8 rebounds and one assist per game, playing in a total of 61 games. He will sit out this season before becoming eligible with two to play two before the 17-18 campaign.

Welcome to Boulder, Namon!
