Thanks to a strong Summer League performance, the Chicago Bulls have signed former Colorado guard Spencer Dinwiddie to a two-year, non-guaranteed, minimum deal.

Dinwiddie, who was waived by the Bulls shortly after they acquired him from Detroit, was a member of the Bulls Summer League team that won the title, and averaged 10.6 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 24.6 minutes per game.

In his three years at CU, Dinwiddie was good for 13 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 30.1 minutes per game. He was originally drafted by the Pistons 38th overall in the 2014 NBA Draft.

With the addition of Dinwiddie, the Bulls have four point guards on their roster, including Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade as well as Rajon Rondo. It remains to be seen where Dinwiddie’s minutes will come from as a result, but at the very least, it should be an excellent chance to learn from some of the best for him.
