Former Missouri guard Namon Wright is currently on a visit to Colorado as he looks for a new school, according to Adam Munsterteiger of BuffStampede.
A guard, Wright is listed at 6'5" and 200 pounds. Originally from the Los Angeles area, he was rated as a top 75 recruit coming out of high school, coming in at 69th according to 247 Sports. In his two season at Missouri, he played in 61 games, averaging 8.2 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1 assist per game.
With two years of eligibility remaining, Wright would be available for the Buffs after sitting out this season, putting him on the roster in 17-18 and 18-19. Described as a big, athletic, aggressive player, he has all the makings of the quintessential Tad Boyle guard. Boyle will be competing with Oregon and UNLV to secure his services, as both are said to be in the mix.
