Rick George has done a phenomenal job in his time as Colorado athletic director. One only needs to look at the new facilities to see clear evidence of that. Now the CU Board of Regents has decided to reward George by awarding him with a three-year contract extension and a $754,314 per year raise.
CU regents voted 9-0 to approve the contract extension and raise for AD Rick George, extending his deal through June 30, 2021. #cubuffs

George was brought in for his ties to the University, his professional experience and his expected fundraising prowess and he hasn't disappointed. According to BuffZone, George's base salary ranks second among the 10 public Pac-12 Universities.
Congrats, Rick.
