Jonathan Van Diest commits to Colorado

Colorado welcomes their second commitment of the day.

Colorado Football landed their second commitment of  the day and the first from Junior Day as Jonathan Van Diest made his verbal. He becomes the first member of the 2017 recruiting class.

Van Diest, who stands at 6'2" and 235 pounds, is a defensive end from Cherry Creek High School in Denver. He is rated as the fifth player in the state of Colorado by 247 Sports and his offer list included Iowa State, Louisville, Nebraska and conference rival Washington State. Keep an eye out for more out of the football program as the day continues.
