Kyle Ringo tweeted this morning that the Colorado Board of Regents has approved a contract extension for head basketball coach Tad Boyle through June 30, 2020. The news comes following Boyle's worst season in Boulder, the Buffs finished 16-18 (7-11 in the Pac-12) including a season-ending loss to Seattle in the CBI. The University is now clearly committed to Tad going forward, and wisely so. The team will certainly look much different in the immediate future with the roster shuffling that's taken place in recent weeks, this news provides a welcome dose of stability.
