It'll be pretty hard to top this as a first commitment in a recruiting class going forward. Tad Boyle has received a verbal from Denver East point guard Dom Collier, one of the top ranked guards in the 2014 class and a huge local win. It's hard to put into words just how big of a commitment this is for the Buffaloes basketball program. Tad Boyle has completely changed the expectations in Boulder in such a remarkably short period of time that it's almost hard to believe.
Collier comes in as the heir apparent at the point guard position after the expected departure of Spencer Dinwiddie. The Buffaloes are turning into one of those "reload" programs before our very eyes. How cool is that?
Just committed to play basketball at CU!! Go Buffs!!! #rollTad 👍

The last two ranked players from Colorado to commit to CU are ranked exactly the same. Josh Scott and Dom Collier, both No. 61 nationally.

New CU commit @domcollier24 is the eighth member of the #Rivals150 to commit to Colorado since Tad Boyle took over.Incredible.
