2014 Denver Point Guard Dom Collier Commits To The Buffs

Tad Boyle has landed a huge first commitment in the 2014 class.

It'll be pretty hard to top this as a first commitment in a recruiting class going forward. Tad Boyle has received a verbal from Denver East point guard Dom Collier, one of the top ranked guards in the 2014 class and a huge local win. It's hard to put into words just how big of a commitment this is for the Buffaloes basketball program. Tad Boyle has completely changed the expectations in Boulder in such a remarkably short period of time that it's almost hard to believe.

Collier comes in as the heir apparent at the point guard position after the expected departure of Spencer Dinwiddie. The Buffaloes are turning into one of those "reload" programs before our very eyes. How cool is that?

Welcome aboard, Dom!

Notes:
From Rivals:
"A slithery point guard who can get to the rim, Collier is working to add strength and will complete his summer playing with KC Run GMC. He says Buffs fans can look forward to a player who likes to make things happen off the dribble that is working on his jumper.

"I like to break down the defense and go to the rim," said Collier. "I can find my teammates and get them the ball early and that opens me up to get tot he basket later."
