You Did It Buffs Fans, Colorado Announces BuffsMadness Event

It's been a while since the Colorado Buffaloes' basketball program has been relevant at the university and in the Boulder/Denver metro area. However, with last year's Pac-12 championship and upset win in the NCAA Tournament over UNLV, it has been making its way back with a vengeance.

Now, comes the announcement of BuffsMadness. What is BuffsMadness? It's a version of Midnight Madness, which is when teams hold their first basketball practice of the season. It starts at midnight and typically, there's a scrimmage, dunk contest, three-point contest and so on; basically, whatever Tad Boyle wants to do with the team. It's a kickoff for the basketball season to get started in good fashion and get the fans excited.

It will take place Friday, October 12th at 8:30 p.m. after the Buffs volleyball team takes on Arizona State. The reason this is happening is because of the fans. They liked Colorado Basketball enough on Facebook to get the administration to realize how dedicated they are to CU Basketball. Not every school does this for basketball, so this is a great sign for the program. BuffsMadness is another way this Buffaloes basketball continues to exceed expectations.
