Recapping your Colorado Buffaloes' and Pac-12 Athletics and Offseason Football, News, Links, and Stories
3-point shot: Another naval ship game? - College Basketball Nation Blog - ESPN - I'm a huge fan of this move. On the basketball side, I miss the Kansas games the most and as our program improves I don't want to be robbed of those contests. Anyone not like this agreement?
2. Kansas had struggled to find a quality home game, so the Jayhawks went to an old friend, former player and league rival. Colorado and Tad Boyle, who played at Kansas and coaches Colorado, are finalizing a deal with the Jayhawks to do a two-year home-and-home series, starting in Lawrence. The Buffaloes reached the NCAA tournament third round last season, losing to Baylor in Albuquerque. Kansas had no ill will toward the Buffaloes when they left the Big 12 for the Pac-12, unlike rival Missouri. Re-starting this series is good for both leagues and programs.
2012 Rimington Trophy Watchlist - Colorado junior center Gus Handler was named to the Rimington Trophy watch list. If the award was given based on the best photo, he would have already won.
CU Buffs' Douglas Rippy excited to come back - Buffzone - Should we get TRR polos??? We need POLOS!
"I'm used to it now after being thrown into it last year with the first seven games I played," Rippy said of Embree's high expectations for him. "I handled it pretty well. It's not all about me though, I still need to go out and play with another 10 guys. "So all the pressure is not on me. It's going to be on all of us who are out there. Coach Embree just wants leadership out of me and Jon Major and the other guys, the seniors that are out there."

Andre Roberson - SF - Class of 2010 - San Antonio, TX (Wagner) - Colorado Roberson was a late bloomer and didn't start to receive major offers until very late in the game and Tad Boyle was able to scoop him up quickly after getting started in Boulder, fighting off Penn State and some lower level schools. Roberson made a name for himself in his first season in the Pac-12 as a shot blocker and rebounder and is one of the leading candidates for conference player of the year next year.

Pac-12 football: And with the No. 2 pick, the Pac-12 Network selects … | College Hotline - See? I wasn't the only one who forgot that CU-CSU moving to Sunday had already happened...
* One game is already scheduled for Thursday (Utah vs. Northern Colorado) and — as I’ve noted in previous posts on this topic – several others will undoubtedly move off Saturday. It only makes sense given the number of games and limited broadcast windows on a single Saturday. Don’t be surprised if we see a second Thursday game, at least one on Friday and at least one on Sunday, with the best bet being Colorado-Colorado State, which has been played on Sunday in the past.
