Denver South RB Phillip Lindsay Becomes Buffaloes First 2013 Commit

Buffstampede.com is reporting that Denver South running back Phillip Lindsay has become the first commitment for the 2013 Colorado recruiting class. While it's not even April yet, it has still been rough watching other schools pile up commits while the Buffaloes waited for their first. Lindsay is a local back with good speed and an aggressive running style. As a junior, he earned all-state honors in 2011 after rushing for nearly 1,800 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Welcome aboard Phillip!

"Phillip has gotten stronger, bigger and faster every year," said his uncle and coach at Denver South, Tony Lindsay. "He is a student of the game; he stays in the weight room. He is like we used to be when I came up. He lives it, he breathes it. You don't get many kids that do that anymore but he does. He is driven."
