Eleven Seeded Colorado To Take On UNLV In The South Region Of The NCAA Tournament

Moser is scary.

The waiting is over, we now know who the Buffaloes will be facing.

Colorado was selected as an eleven seed and will take on the six-seeded UNLV Runnin' Rebels in the South Region in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Should the Buffs take down UNLV and UCLA transfer Mike Moser they would face either 3-seed Baylor or 14 seed South Dakota State. New Mexico is a short 5.5 hour drive from Boulder and should be attended by a good number of Colorado fans.

UNLV finished the season third in the Mountain West Conference with a 26-8 record. They were knocked out of the conference tournament in a semi-final loss to New Mexico on Friday. They split their season series with Colorado State and took down number one North Carolina in non-conference play. Sophomore forward Mike Moser versus Andre Roberson will be a fantastic match-up to watch.

Most experts thought that the Buffaloes would receive a 12 or 13 seed so this is quite a pleasant surprise. Go ahead and plan to be off work on Thursday now, you have basketball to watch. We'll have plenty more coverage leading up to the game.

Go Buffs!
