Last week: 2-2
Season record: 15-13
All lines according to Vegas Insider as of 11:00 a.m., on 11/8
Oregon St. Beavers (+4) at Stanford Cardinal
It seems as if it is the Kevin Hogan and Cody Vaz shows at Stanford and Oregon State respectively and their performances in this game will go a long way in determining whether or not one of these teams can land a second Pac-12 BCS berth. Oregon may have conquered the "Colorado Curse" last week, but the fact that a lot of people are anointing Hogan as the savior of the Cardinal offense after only facing the Buffaloes in extended time is a very real factor. The line has fallen from 5.5 with over 80% of the money on Stanford. Beaver juice.
The pick - Beavers +4
Army Black Knights (+17) at Rutgers Scarlet Knights
I don't know that I could watch this game even with money on it. But the numbers say to grab it. 83% riding on Rutgers and the line has dropped from 19 to 17. Army is just the kind of team to run the clock and keep this one close.
The pick - Black Knights +17
Miami Hurricanes at Virginia Cavaliers (-1)
We won on a surprise blowout last weekend when Virginia took down N.C. State and we're going to take them again this week when Miami comes to town. The Hurricanes have struggled mightily on the road this season and Mike London seems to be pulling this squad together. The line opened with Miami -1.5 and has flip-flopped to Virginia -1, even with 92% of the money on Miami.
The pick - Cavaliers -1
Northwestern Wildcats (+10.5) at Michigan Wolverines
Brady Hoke hasn't yet lost at the Big House and it may not happen this weekend, but the Wildcats will keep this one significantly closer than the 10.5 points they are getting. Pat Fitzgerald has finally figured out the best way to use Colorado native Kain Colter and the offense has been significantly improved ever since. Well over 90% of the money is on the Wolverines but the line has moved all the way from 13 to 10.5
The pick - Wildcats +10.5
