No full recap coming tonight as I have to hustle to the airport for a 5:30 a.m. flight tomorrow.
The Buffaloes once again fell apart in the second half at home after a strong turn at the end of the second quarter let them head into the locker room down by only a field goal.
All that hope and momentum was quickly dashed when Rashad Ross took the opening kickoff of the second half 100 yards and silenced a suddenly energized Folsom crowd. From there the Sun Devils followed the lead of the Bruins two weeks ago and carved up a suddenly nowhere to be found Buffalo defense. Arizona State quarterback Taylor Kelly finished with 5 touchdown passes and over 300 yards. Opposing quarterbacks sure do seem to have good days against the Buffs don't they?
Not a whole lot of positives to take away from this one. Nick Kasa had a great game when the ball was thrown his way. Gerald Thomas once again looked impressive with the ball in his hands (when Webb could get it to him). Nelson Spruce continues to play well. That's about it. Tack on a pretty severe looking Brady Daigh injury in the closing minutes of the game. Another loss and USC and Oregon up next. If you have a beer drink it. Scotch? Pour some. It's going to continue to be a rough season.
