Colorado Receives A Verbal From 2012 California RB Davien Payne

BuffScoop is reporting that the Colorado Buffaloes have pulled in their tenth recruit of the 2012 class by receiving a verbal commitment from Citrus Hill (California) running back Davien Payne (great last name). Payne was recruited by offensive coordinator Eric Bienemy. The 2012 class now includes 3 wide receivers, 2 running backs, 1 quarterback, 2 defensive tackles, 1 offensive lineman, and 1 linebacker. Welcome aboard Davien!

"Davien is a big, strong, downhill runner with real good agility and real good vision," said Citrus Hill head coach Eric Zomalt. "He can hit it inside and outside. We knew early on when he joined our team that physically he can do some things."
