Colorado Receives A Verbal From 2012 Texas DE Victor Irokansi

The Colorado Buffaloes have pulled in another verbal commitment from the state of Texas (4 of 8 commits from the state) with news of Pflugerville defensive end Victor Irokansi pledging to attend CU. Victor is the third defensive player in the class and is the first defensive end. Head coach Jon Embree and staff are certainly doing work on there on the recruiting trail, pulling in three commits over the past two weeks with another possible one (Davien Payne) expected soon. Welcome aboard Victor!

Notes: From Rivals ($): A second-team all-district selection as a junior, Irokansi said he considers his explosiveness and strength to be his best attributes as a defensive end.

"I am the strongest guy at the school right now and I am a hard worker so I am only going to get stronger," Irokansi added. "My explosiveness helps me be a great pass rusher because I beat the opposing lineman off the ball."
