The 2011 NFL Draft is upon us. One of the more exciting sports days of the year brings hope to fans that the players they select this year will lead them to a Super Bowl. A few teams tonight will likely call on two former Colorado Buffaloes to aid them in their championship pursuit. CB Jimmy Smith and OT Nate Solder are both projected to be picked in the first round round.
The current buzz right now is both Jimmy and Nate can go as high as #13 or potentially fall out of the first round.
For Jimmy Smith, the teams that seem to have the most interest according to the experts are the Detroit Lions at #13, the Philadelphia Eagles at #23 and the Baltimore Ravens at #26. The Oakland Raiders are also rumored to be looking at move into the first round to select Smith if available.
For Nate Solder, the teams that seem to have the most interest according to the experts are the Detroit Lions at #13, the Indianapolis Colts at #22, the New York Giants at #19, the Kansas City Chiefs at #21 and the Chicago Bears at #29.
