Colorado Receives A Verbal From 2012 Mullen DT Tyler Henington

The Colorado Buffaloes have received their third verbal commitment, and second from Colorado, in the 2012 recruiting class from Mullen defensive tackle Tyler Henington. Henington, a teammate of top in-state recruit Cyler Miles, was offered two weeks ago and committed yesterday. Welcome aboard Tyler! H/t to Phil for the Fanshot.

"Henington is rated as the fourth-best in-state prospect for the class of 2012 by ColoradoPrepReport.com, which is part of the Rivals network. He had 114 tackles and a team-high 11 sacks last season. He joins Mountain Vista defensive end Clay Norgrad as an early in-state CU commitment. Norgard committed to CU in mid-February. Henington's a major get for Embree and the Buffs, and not only because he's one of the state's best talents. Last season, CU landed only one Mullen player - highly-touted linebacker Brady Daigh - from the state's most talent-rich program."
