11:21 AM - Status Update: So with Asiata committed, Colorado has 17 commitments with all LOIs in except for Kyle Washington which should be in shortly.
10:36 AM - Chris Fetters of scout.com is reporting that the Buffs will get all three Hawaiians - KT Tuumalo, Juda Parker and Paulay Asiata.
9:25 AM - Chris Fetters of Scout.com expects Paulay Asiata, the #1 prospect in Hawaii, to commit to Colorado. That means the Buffs will have the #1 and #2 prospects out of Hawaii in Juda Parker and Paulay Asiata
9:00 AM - LB Brady Daigh and OT Marc Mustoe have sent in their LOIs. Both are Colorado preps who are two of the bigger commitments for Embree in this class.
8:50 AM - Make it 9 LOIs in. K Will Oliver has sent his in to Colorado. Seven more to go - KT Tuumalo, Juda Parker, Brady Daigh, Marc Mustoe, Woodson Greer, Greg Henderson and Kyle Washington - that we should expect. Six others are possible - Leilon Willingham, Paulay Asiata, Marcus Martin, Devin Lucien, Stephan Nembot and Malcolm Creer. Feel the best about Creer, think Martin sticks with USC. Would say I feel next best about Asiata. The other three could go either way.
8:34 AM - Per a twitter tweet from Adam M at Rivals.com, LB/S Will Harlos, WR Nelson Spruce and QB Stevie Dorman have faxed in their LOIs. So the east coast and Texas players are now reporting. That makes eight LOIs in - the three above, Harrington, Kelley, Hall, Clark, Burnette.
7:58 AM - Random Thought: Was thinking last night how fortunate we were having nice weather recruiting visits the last two weekends and not this artic cold front we are having now. I could have seen Juda Parker, KT Tuumalo and Juda Parker from Hawaii not liking this weather too much.
7:30 AM - Brandon Huffman of scout.com is reporting via twitter that WR Devin Lucien will annnounce today at 3:00pm PT/4:00pm MT. LB Leilon Willingham is expected to announce tomorrow, leaving Buff fans anxious for possibly another day. The secret might leak out beforehand so we will keep you posted. Should know about Paulay Asiata around lunch time. Stephen Nembot is a TBD as he might be waiting until later in the evening. CBS Los Angeles is reporting Nembot to announce at 5:30pm PT/6:30pm MT.
All this means Embree might not be able to announce his entire class at the recruiting luncheon today. I can see Embree saying "we have one (or two) more commits that are yet to announce publicly but we know they will be Buffs." Could be some drama guessing who else commits.
This sort of thing is going to keep happening as recruiting continues to get more and more coverage.
7:17 AM - QB Brent Burnette and OL Alex Kelley have been on campus since January so their LOI's have been in. Sherrard Harrington from Washington D.C. has already faxed in his LOI. Harrington was deciding between Colorado and Iowa but committed in mid January to the Buffs after visiting. DC Greg Brown has found some good corners over the years (Jimmy Smith, Jalil Brown) so hopefully he can turn Harrington into a similar player.
All the east coast guys are getting in their LOIs. Oak Ridge Millitary's (VA) RB Rashad Hall and Jermaine Clark are in as well. I really like Rashad Hall.
See after the jump for player profiles.
6:10 AM Welcome Buff fans to National Signing Day. We will keep you updated on all of the happenings today. Currently Colorado has fifteen known verbal commitments with a potential of six more we will be watching today. Those six players are:
4* California WR Devin Lucien
3* Hawaii OL Paulay Asiata
4* Colorado LB Leilon Willingham
3* California DE Stephan Nembot
3* California RB Malcolm Creer
3* California OL Marcus Martin
It is believed that Creer will definitely sign with Colorado and that chances are good with Asiata switching to CU from Washington. Marcus Martin is expected to stay with USC. Stephan Nembot will be choosing between Colorado and Washington. Devin Lucien will be deciding between Colorado, Utah, Miami and UCLA. Mullen prep star Leilon Willingham, who may be announcing Thursday due to snow cancelling school today, is choosing between Michigan, Colorado and UCF.
