Marques Mosley Commits To The Buffaloes And The Train Keeps Rolling

The Colorado Buffaloes have picked up their 22nd commitment in the 2012 recruiting class as Upland, California athlete Marques Mosley has given his pledge to Colorado. Mosley joins Donta Abron as the second commit from Upland and the pair could potentially lead to a third if fullback Christian Powell decides to join his teammates. Mosley will most likely see time as a cornerback at Colorado, although he could project at either wide receiver or safety. He is a classic case of recruiting rankings not equaling his offers. Nebraska, Michigan State and Oregon State do not a 2-star make.

Welcome aboard Marques!

"Mosley, who stands 6-foot-1, 174-pounds, averaged 17.2 yards on 19 rushing attempts, 22.4 yards on 12 receptions, 24.3 yards on 10 punt returns and 33.1 yards on eight kickoff returns during his senior season. He also recorded 64 tackles, four pass break ups and one interception on defense.

"Marques has game changing ability," Esquivel said. "When the game was on the line, Marques is the guy we were going to. He never came off the field for us. Colorado recruited him as a cornerback but I could see them using him on special teams as well. He is one heck of a kickoff returner and punt returner. Marques has breakaway speed and on defense, he is a hitter."
